Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an Exciting opportunity for a civilian Dental Assistant at Scott Air Force Base!

Position Highlights:
- Full-time

Position Requirements:
- 1 year experience with one of the following certifications/degrees:
- Certificate or Associate Degree as a dental assistant/technician from a program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) of the American Dental Association (ADA)
- Certification from a military dental technician or dental assistant school
- Certification from a Red Cross Dental Assistant course
- OR 3 years’ experience within the preceding 5 years as a dental assistant in a private practice or a military clinic
- Membership in good standing with the American Association of Dental Assistant with required continuing education
- Must be certified as a Dental Radiographer
- Completion of a military dental technician or dental assistant “A” school or Dental Assistant program transcripts documenting dental X-ray training will fulfill this requirement
Training Requirements:
- Courses in the following areas: radiation physics; radiation biology; radiation health, safety and protection; X-ray films and radiographic film qualify; radiographic techniques; darkroom and processing techniques; film mounting and digital radiographic processing techniques
